Just back from a two week holiday staying at Vista Cay Orlando. We where a party of 6 the oldest being 76 and the youngest 17. We go to Florida most years staying in Villas out Davenport way but started to get fed up with the driving in and out all the time. This year we thought we would try a town house. The house was over three floors and the standard was very high and wanting for nothing( the girls loved the Margaritaville mixer) The house is in a gated community which makes it secure but we did experence problems with the gates. The pool area was great but very busy so first thing is the best time for a quiet swim. There is no bar at the pool which is a shame but you can buy drinks from the gift shop. My brother-in-law and I are keen golfers so we booked a round at Shingle Creek resort which is 5 mins drive. We got free shoe and club rental because we where staying at Vista Cay($89 for the round including cart) So in short, fantastic holiday and a fantastic base for the holiday.

My family and I stayed at Vista Cay for three nights and we loved the executive three bedroom, two bath condo. The condo was spacious and very comfortable, it felt like home! There was a little two much noise from the tenants up above but the general manager Nastor Olazar was wonderful in resolving the issue and ensuring that we were happy. Hats off to Nester and his crew...see you next year for sure.

"Booking already for next year!"

Stayed at Vista Cay in July with my husband and two daughters aged 8 and 9. What a fabulous time we had and we really can't describe how impressed we were with our apartment. The fact that we are already booking for next year is testament enough! We booked a two bed executive apartment and it was huge - more than adequate for us all. It was spotlessly clean and well stocked with everything we needed including plenty towels to use. The girls loved having their own bathroom and my husband and I loved having our own space to sit and chat after a long day at the theme parks without us all having to cram into one room and having to whisper so as not to waken them like we have done in the past. Our TV broke twice because the girls were playing around with the remote - it was fixed within half an hour - great service. We only used the pool a few times but there was never a problem getting a sunbed, it was clean and with a lovely view of the lake. It could perhaps benefit from a small snack bar purely for selfish reasons but the shop was well enough stocked. The resort is only 5 minutes from sea world and universal and about 15 mins from Disney on the I4. The nearby Publix supermarket is ideal for all essentials. Vista Cay is in an ideal location and the accomodation is far superior than even the most luxurious of hotel rooms. If we are lucky enough to return next year we wouldn't stay anywhere else! Wow!

Fab location, excellent facilities, nicer than my own home. We did find it difficult to actually find our apartment but once we did we realized it was worth the wait. Resort is located on a road that takes you the back route to Universal Studios so you are there within 5 minutes even at the busiest times of the day. This is 8th trip to the theme parks and now we will never stay anywhere else when coming to Orlando!
Room Tip: 3 bed executive apartment huge and well equipped

Stayed at Vista Cay for two weeks at the end of June into July 2011 adults and a 16 year old. We had a booked a standard 2 bedroom unit as part of our Virgin holidays package and i have to say we were all blown away by the quality of the accommodation.......It certainly had the WOW factor!!! Spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, we adored the condo. We were on the ground floor and there are air con units outside the main bedrooms in these but they are quiet and didn't disrupt us at all. Check in was as simple as can be - loved the fact that the doors were electronic - no carrying keys around with you! you don't even have to check out at the end of your stay, you just lock the door and leave! All staff we encountered were polite and professional and the clubhouse now has a small shop selling gifts and basic food items. Publix supermarket is either a 5 minute walk or a 30 second drive and has everything you could possibly need - we even rented a DVD from Publix for $1!!! This was our first visit to Orlando, which was quite nerve wrecking and took a lot of planning - I couldn't fault Vista Cay and the quality of the accommodation really made our holiday special. As most people say - the location is fantastic, everything within easy reach - we drove less than 10 miles to more or less everything. I would not hesitate to book this accommodation again and am already planning for next year!! Any questions please ask!!

This was the first time I ever stayed in a condo in Orlando. I usually get a hotel. I have 3 kids and didn't want to squish into a hotel for 3 days. I usually stay at disney hotel but we wanted to go to universal and sea world. We rented a 3 bedroom condo and it was fabulous. Everyone had their own room and it was spacious. Full beautiful kitchen. Office. I can't say enough great things about this place. It was very affordable. The pool was clean and the kids had fun swimming. There is a full washer and dryer in the condo. Perfect stay! Will be back.

This is our 4th trip to the Vista Cay but I think it may be our first stay in an apartment owned by Millenium management. First class condo with lake view. Very clean, crisp white bed linen as a very fussy traveler I can tell you this is the cleanest place i have stayed. 3 bedroom condo with kitchen,2 bathrooms, laundry room (which is very handy when you only have a 15kg baggage allowance and you want to shop while there- i know i can pack less and wash while there). Well mantained grounds. They've made a couple of improvements at the club house. A small shop has replaced the old games room which has been moved outside nearer the pool. Publix, Wallgreens ,pizza in walking distance. 5-10 minute drive to Universal or Seaworld. You do need a car whilst staying here. Wish i was still there.

After years, and i mean years of staying in Motels, and Hotels in the area, we visited a few friends who stayed in the apartments when they first opened, we were very impressed with the complex, the amenities and the accommodation. The following year we decided to try something different and stayed at vista Cay with 2 other friends. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a 3 bedroom apartment, en suite and with a great view of the lake. It was our friends first visit and nothing was out of place, the apartment was spotless, the apartment had internet access, DVD, PlayStation, huge LCD tv, fully fitted kitchen and great air conditioning. Not that we spent much time in the accommodation. The location was perfect, easy access to international drive, Universal, the convention centre and Sea World. The complex had a small but well kept Gym, a Cinema room, a shop on site, a great pool areas with spa and was spotless. We loved it so much we went back a few months later with some other friends. on arrival our booking was confirmed, but not after some calls back to the UK. to make up for the inconvenience we were again upgraded. Staff are warm and friendly, and the complex is amazing. well worth the price.

"Return visit and still excellent"
July 20, 2011
This is the second time in year we have stayed at Vista Cay, and we were not disappointed. Both times we have been upgraded to a larger apartment both very different but equally as good. We requested a room close to the pool and above ground level both of which were met, the apartment was well equipped and clean. Vista cay is in an excellent location close to International Drive and minutes from Universal & Sea World. The staff are pleasant and extremely helpful. Only downside if you want a spot by the pool you need to get there early as by 9am most of the beds have towels on them even thought most are not used until late morning ........or even afternoon !!

"I found JOYFUL56T... Texas"
July 17, 2011
Vista Cay Resort in a web search of Orlando area vacation rentals. We were not visiting the theme parks, but needed a centralized location for touring 55+ communities in the Central Florida area. We had 2 couples (family) doing the tours and when I checked prices for separate hotel rooms and even residence-type hotels, Vista Cay was like a light in the dark for the price. We booked a 'premium' 2B/2B unit that was as pretty and spacious as their website promised. Booking was fairly easy by phone and check in was even easier and very friendly. No check out was required because the locks are keyless--you just have to memorize your assigned code--VERY NICE!! We were all VERY impressed with the spaciousness and the appointments--we had a large living room with a sleeper sofa, a separate very spacious family room with very comfortable seating and a big-screen TV. The kitchen was amazing, but alas, cooks that we are, we did not have time to do any cooking--but the oven, microwave and full-sized refrigerator came in very handy for bringing in or ordering delivery. There was also a full-sized stove and dishwasher--all the comforts of home. The unit decor and the kitchen were better than our own home, LOL. The 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were spacious, and the beds were quite comfortable. Trash disposal is a snap--you just place your trash in a small bin outside your front door (cleverly disguised as a lovely bench) and it is whisked away before you know it. The pool area is beautiful and overlooks a lake. The pool was very busy in the late afternoons/evenings with families coming 'home' from a busy day at the various parks, but there was plenty of seating. There was also a separate laundry room in our unit with a full-sized washer and dryer and extra towels, etc. There is also plenty of parking. Next time we would request an upper-level unit (they have elevators) overlooking the lake and closer to the pool (we were as far away as you can get). Based on other Trip Advisor reviews, we tried NYPD Pizza which is a very easy drive or walk and it was simply delicious and the staff were friendly and gracious. Publix supermarket in the same shopping center was VERY handy. The unit would have been a bit pricey for 1 couple (in our opinion), but with 2 or 3 couples sharing--it's an amazing value in the Orlando area. There is no restaurant on site which we knew about, but hey, there are plenty of restaurants nearby, the Publix, and a room service menu from several local restaurants in the unit.

"Exceeded our Expectations and Hopes"
July 15, 2011
Had seen a few of the negative reviews and wondered if we would be disappointed. NOPE! We were delighted with the apartment (we got upgraded to a three bedroom with pool table). It was HUGE and very nicely furnished. Everything we needed was on hand and we had a lovely lakeside view. 2min walk took us to the pool. Vista Cay is a SUPERB location as far as the parks are concerned. Even better once we realised there was a side entrance/exit that made it even quicker to get in out. Would definately go back.

Stayed at 2 bed condo which was massive and had everything that one required. Easy access and parking was good. Pool was very busy being the holiday season for europeans. The towel on the sunbed and not seeing the person for hours was annoying when sunbeds were not that plentiful. The management should consider a policy of not leaving towels on sunbeds and then going away. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay and would visit again.

"Home away from home"
Apr 14, 2011
We stayed at Vista Cay for 1 week. Check in and check out were easy, efficient and convenient. Our suite was a 3 bed/2 bath executive unit. It was very clean, spacious, quiet, well equipped and well decorated. We had everything that we needed and more. Each bedroom and the family room had a large flat screen tv, so everyone could watch what they wanted. It was great to come back to such a large suite after a long day at the theme parks. All of the beds were comfortable and there was a pull out couch in the family room. If you choose to cook you will have everything that you need to prepare a meal. If you choose to eat out, there are many restaurants near by on international drive. The Publix is located within walking distance and we highly recommend the NYPD pizza place. The pool was a comfortable temperature and there were always chairs availalbe at the poolside. The grounds are well kept and there is a nice walking path around the lake. The complex is conveniently located close to many attractions and great shopping! We will definitely be back!
"Totally awesome"
Apr 14, 2011
We booked this condo a year ago and became quite concerned after reading some of the bad reviews on here recently. The condo was fabulous, huge, clean and well equiped. All equpment worked perfectly, the furniture was comfortable and we were not troubled by any noise. We were on the top floor of 3816 cayview avenue apt 404. A huge 3 bedroomed 2 bath apartment overlooking the lake. We booked this through Golden Florida / IPG, all documentation regarding codes and addresses were given to us approx 2 weeks before travelling so we could just go straight from the airport to our room. Would thoroughly recommend these apartments. 2 minute drive to I drive, approx 15 minutes to Disney, Publix supermarket on complex. Only bad points we could say were that curtains were needed in the bedrooms as blinds were not dark enough and the balcony needed de-cobwebbing! With regards to the bins smelling outside the condo, there was only one day in our 2 1/2 week stay when we could smell them as they were not collected (possibly due to severe weather). We got free wifi in the room along with a desktop pc and free phone calls back to the UK and US. Overall highly recommended and I wish we were still there!

Our family from Finland stayed at Vista Cay for 2 weeks in October. We rented directly from owner. We had no problem. The two bedroom condo was spotless and we had enough room for everybody. Pool and the clubhouse was very nice, not too crowded. NyPD pizza, Publix and Wahlgreen were very nice to have so close. I recommend Vista Cay for familys We are going back in automn and waiting for it.
"Like Home but nicer. Incredibly luxurious. Couldn't believe what we paid."
Apr 7, 2011
This was a beautiful place to stay. The room was HUGE! We had a full kitchen with a bistro style island, a home office, a gigantic living room/dinning area with a play station, three bedrooms each with a tv, and two full bathrooms. The decor was much nicer than what was portrayed on the websites. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Also, there is the most magnificent golf course right across the street.
"Great place to stay!!!"
Apr 6, 2011
I have three teenagers and I needed space. Got upgraded to a three bedroom unit. Fantastic! Great beds, great kitchen. Flat screens all over the place. Real close to a Walgreens and a Publix. Also, NYPD Pizza delivers to your door. You can not go wrong. Only complaint, don't rely on the computers in the business center.
"Excellent self-catering facility"
Mar 31, 2011
On my recent trip to Orlando with my wife, mother, and brother in-law Vista Cay suited our needs perfectly. To avoid having to pay for three hotel rooms, we decided to rent a place with three bedrooms. The three bedroom, 3.5 bath townhouse we rented for the week was just what we needed. My wife and I shared a room, my mother had a room, and my brother in-law had a room, and we all had our own private bathrooms with showers. This was great for getting ready in the morning, and afforded us all some extra privacy. The kitchen was well equipped, although we didn't cook much (toast in the morning, and microwave for leftover chinese). Wireless internet worked well throughout the entire unit, and was a big advantage.
The furniture was not particularly comfortable, but based on other reviews I didn't really expect it to be. However, everything was clean and comfort level was at a medium. For the price, there are no complaints. The Publix next door was excellent for buying food. The staff at Publix were extremely service minded and friendly, and the store itself was spotless and well organized. We didn't use the clubhouse facilities, except for the computers. The location of Vista Cay is great as well, but make sure you have a car as others have mentioned in previous reviews, you are a bit isolated. We visited Universal while in Orlando, and it took 10 minutes to drive there. Also, International Drive and shopping outlets are close as well.
Our townhouse backed up to Universal Drive, and we sure did hear every single car that drove by loud and clear. I would request a unit that does not back up to Universal Drive. The electronic combo lock for the unit was a plus as we didn't have to worry about any keys, but make sure it is locked when you leave! We punched in the code one morning having thought we locked it and returned in the evening to find we had not. Luckily it did not appear anyone had entered while we were out.
Ultimately, we chose Vista Cay because of the price. $170 total per night for a three floor, three bedroom, 3.5 bath townhouse with wireless internet, garage and single car driveway is a pretty good deal wherever you are. I would most likely return again if travelling with a group or family.
"A great choice"
Mar 20, 2011
Just finished a week stay here that we booked directly. All in all it was a positive experience. Easy to locate if you know how to use a map. The check in is now in the clubhouse, which is new and different that what some prior reviews indicate. Presumably to make it easier to locate, which it was. The older gentleman that checked me in was very Disney friendly. Sign here, here is your information, call us with any questions, have fun. We were also upgraded to a 3 bedroom from the two which we reserved, which is always a nice surprise. The room itself was very nice. Everything in it looked new and it was both well decorated and clean. The building that we stayed in was very quiet. It was four floors high, but we hardly ever saw or heard anyone around. It was a nice escape from the zoom of Disney. BTW: It only took about 15 minutes to get to a Disney park from here.
There were two minor negatives: First, one room had a faulty smoke detector that started to beep. We called and asked them to fix it, they said they would, but never did, so that 3rd room came in handy. The detector was still beeping when we left. 2nd: The check out is 10:00. I called to see if we could stay a little longer and was told that we could not because they had to turn the room around. Ok, but having the cleaning lady banging on the door at 9:50 was not exactly leaving on a good note. Despite the two negatives, I would definitely stay there again and recommend this place to my friends.
"Excellent"
Mar 14, 2011
Location: very easy to find, near everything, few mins to intl blvd and about 15 mins drive to disney. Publix right down the street and there is walgreens right outside the gate.
Check in: quick and staff are pleasant. Check in is at 4pm but we arrived at 3 pm and the unit was already ready and they let us in.
Condo: we have a three br condo- everything was clean, nice decors, and spacious. Granite counters, stainless steel app, full w/d. Everything you need in the kitchen is there. Plus extras like small laundry soap, dishwasher soap etc.
Check out: nothing to do just leave and lock the unit.
Overall: we are definitely coming back. Wishes and suggestions: we stayed in March so weather is nice and cool but in summer times in Florida is sometimes unforgiving-having said that- ceiling fans would be nice. Also check in time at 4 pm, i think is way too late.. Though they let us in early than that but check in time at 1pm or 2pm would be nice. Also check out at 10am is too early too.. 11am like most hotels would be nice.

This place is the best! As soon I checked in I received a free upgrade to a 3 bedroom 3 bath Town Home. The place was spotless. Everything we needed was provided for. Pool is beautiful and clean. I am a fussy when it comes to resorts, and this place is top notch. There is a also a car service parks for a fee. Our driver George was upbeat and helpful everyday. Will return soon.

Having thoroughly researched this resort beforehand we were completely happy with our experience staying there for a week at the end of January. Yes, if you didn't know where the resort management office is located before you go you could get lost but I read other trip advisor reviews and had no problems. Our room was tastefully decorated, a 2 bedroom unit with the largest and most comfortable king bed I have ever slept in and a queen-sized bed in the other. That was our only issue though in that my two teenagers slept in the same bed but they decided that they wanted to otherwise I would have contacted Management to change rooms. We were in the Common Cay area , Villa 302 (or 312??) , 4032 Breakview Drive therefore furthest away from the clubhouse so couldn't really go swimming (too cold anyway) but we did use the internet and concierge services at the clubhouse and was able to connect the wifi internet in the room easily. I would suggest that they put more than one set of cutlery (4 pieces each ) in each room as this meant that we had to wash the cutlery after breakfast every day. We also noticed that in our unit on the right hand side wall (fridge side) none of the powerpoints worked so moved everything to the other side. These are minor issues however and we really enjoyed our stay, great location - easy drive to everything, very roomy, quiet and with the Publix and the NYPD Pizza nearby we had everything we needed.
"The Perfect Spot"
Feb 8, 2011
Found Vista Cay Resort on Facebook (good Facebook discount) and it seemed to offer everything we were looking for. Big....big suites, heated pool and a balcony. The place was everything we thought it was going to be. Room was excellent and everything clean, staff very friendly and gated security, if your traveling with kids, this is your place. Full kitchen saved us a ton of money as we didn't have to eat out every day and there was a Publix supermarket right around the corner.
The whole family loved it cause the kids got their own rooms so they could watch whatever they wanted on TV and we got some peace & quiet :)
My favorite part was the huge balcony overlooking the lake, a great place to sneak a cigar in the evening!!
They do need some room number signs when you get off the elevator though.
All in all, a great place for a family vacation!
"A great relaxing holiday"

Before i start my review i must say this.I don't normaly do this sort of thing place reviews etc. but having seen some of the negative reviews i thought i must. I am not sure of other peoples experiences and expectations but i did discover while i was staying there that there are different management companies involved in managing the complex and i can only speak for the company we were dealing with that is Millenium management.....they were perfect and most helpful in every way.I am not sure how many of the condo's/appartments they look after but from memory i think it tells you on the web site.................................self catering in a condo is'nt obvouisly a five star hotel but we have done quite alot in different countries over the years this is by far the best.i would suggest 5 Star self catering. It is a great spring board for all the local Atractions.. universal,Disney etc.If like us, you like to travel to other areas, again a great location to travel east or west this time we went to new smyrna beach,st augustine and Kennedy space center on the east side it was great.....for those who don't like to travel... well all the major parks are local, the world is your oyster.I would recommend the harry potter ride at universal great fun and bahma beach restaurant on international drive.though it was always nice to come back at night have a swim and sit on the veranda in the warm air sipping a gin and tonic.we will stay again in 2011.The appartments are great, furnished to a high standard i realy couldn't fault it.
"Great Apartment / Ideal Location"
Jan 9, 2011
This was our 7th visit to Orlando and this was by far the best apartment that we have stayed in. I can only comment on our apartment. It was a three bedroom, very well laid out, apartment on the second floor very near the club house. Access to the apartment was by security code so there was no need to worry about losing keys. Access to the actual development was throgh a security coded gate.
The apartment itself was very spacious and exceedingly well equiped , with plenty of crockery and glassware and a modern kitchen with upto date appliances. The decor itself was clean and fresh. All the bedrooms had flat screen televisions and the lounge had a huge surround sound television. The wifi was free and the connection very good. The laundry room was huge as where the bathrooms and they had very good showers. Our beds where all very comfortable , particulary the master bedroom. We had free phone calls to anywhere in the USA. The rubbish or trash was collected every day except on a Tuesday.
The location was ideal very near all main attractions and shopping as well as International Drive , and Universal Boulevard is suprisingly quiet at that point given how close you are to International Drive. The clubhouse itself was well maintained and well equipped. The pool itself is huge and there is a separate children pool and hot tub. There where plenty of sun loungers. Much comment has been made about the pool temperature and yes it was chilly but once in more than tolerable. We where lucky our apartment was so close to the clubhouse as some townhouses and apartments seemed quite a walk away. There was a well stocked Publix Supermarket just round the corner next to the Vista Cay by Millenium offices. If staying here I would recommend car hire for ease of getting about.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the apartment we had which was managed by Vista Cay by Millenium , as be aware not all apartments are managed by them and that may explain the varied quality.
Should we return because of location and quality we would book the same apartment
“Beautiful condos and great location.”

Second time we've stayed at Vista Cay and we cant praise it high enough. There really is very little to fault about this place. The location is excellent. The standard of accommodation is very high and the price is comparable to a cheap hotel on I-drive. As for previous comments about lack of towels, we had a cupboard with 6 unopened packs of towels in it!
Book Vista Cay, you wont be disappointed.

Rented a three bedroom condo for 5 nights in the Vista Cay complex. Very large apartment, well set up in nice complex. Only downside is that due to the way the apartments are constructed you can here every footstep above and it shakes through the walls - so get a top floor apartment if available. The above downside is more than made up for the price and location near Universal, Wet n Wild, Seaworld and the shops. If a runner, good path around the lake and around the Convention Centre.

Have just returned home from another florida holiday and it was magic!! This accom is perfect for everyone !! We travelled with a mixture or ages this time and the accom was perfect as there was 4 different family we all had our own apartment yet we were all still together, the 3 bed exec apartments were to a very high standard and large enough for a family of 6 with room to spare. We had 1 very small problem during our stay, our tv was not working, we contacted them and it was repaired the same day. The swimming pools are well maintained and very clean the jacuzzi was perfect for an evening dip when the pool had cooled down a little, the free internet access was very useful for keeping in touch with home. Never used the movie room or gym but looked good, staff were more than helpful every time you spoke to them. I would say that a car is a must for these apartments it looks on any maps we saw that you could easily walk to international drive but it would take about 20 mins to reach the convention centre. Publix and walgreens are a 5min walk which is great for food shopping, there is also a nice pizza takeout next to publix which if you taken your pass from the hotel you will get a discount ! We visit florida every other year and roll on 2012 as we will be back to vista cay !!!!!

I took 6 teenage boys, my son and 5 of his friends to Halloween Horror nights this year. They were all ages 13 & 14. What could have been it's own horror story turned out fantastic thanks to Vista Cay. I needed a place where I did not need to get 2 rooms, as in a hotel, since there was 7 of us, and this place was awesome. They were all blown away by the elegance and space of Vista Cay. The big screen TV in the living room quickly became the X-Box TV and the boys had a blast. Universal is just down the road as is Sea World. We even came home between parks to change and get ready for the night. So close. There is a basketball court, great pool, a game room and the place it maintained beautifully. The price is so reasonable, especially for Florida residents, I could not pass it up. I totally recommend Vista Cay. We had not issues. The only thing I would change is to put the check-in office on site. We got there late on Friday and went right to the clubhouse, then had to go back to the management office around the corner. But they were very nice and after checking in I was pumped for a fun weekend. Thanks, Vista Cay.

We originally booked a two-bedroom condo and were upgraded to a 3 bedroom townhome. This resort is close to the airport and easily accessible right off the highway. Check in was a breeze and everyone was so friendly and helpful. My only gripe was that I couldn't reserve a Pack'n'Play for our baby so we brought ours down (it's first come, first served for an extra $10 a day -- not worth it for us). The Publix was close to stock up on supplies. There was a Blockbuster Kiosk so we could rent movies easily (cheap too, only $1 a day). The ready-made wraps were fantastic. The NYPD Pizza place in the same plaza was great for dining in a take out too. My only complaint here was that the gates to get out to the plaza are locked for pedestrians so it's a long haul if you need to walk around. A car is needed here. The A/C wasn't working in our first townhome so they promptly switched us to another. Our seond townhome was great -- all stocked with what we needed. The pool and clubhouse were super clean. It would be nice to have a place to buy snacks or a bar but really, this is minor. Umbrellas for sunshade are limited so we often stayed under the overhang away from the pool. The clubhouse staff are helpful and friendly. I would totally stay here again. We made ourselves at home and the price was fantastic.

Home from home, we had a 3 bedroomed apartment with all mod cons, washer, dryer etc. We even did all our washing the day before we came home, apartment was large clean and spacious, pool area was great with music playing all the time, great supermarket Publix was a 5 minute walk away ( next to check in office). Ideally you will need a car if you stay here as a good half hour walk to International Drive.

I had been looking all over for the perfect place to have my birthday getaway at and this place really caught my eye. From the pictures I was just amazed so I booked through Vista Cay Resort by Millenium. I highly suggest renting from them! Check in was quick and easy-right next to the Publix. Found our 3 bed 2 bath executive condo with ease. Beautiful building and interior. As soon as we opened the door to the condo we were floored. It was beautiful, it looks like a luxury apartment. Had so many pots and pans, all kinds of dishes and silverware. All the beds were extremely comfortable and we all slept great. I will definitely be reserving through Vista Cay Resort by Millenium again!

Stayed at the Vista Cay during the last two weeks of August 2010. I know I will probably be repeating previous reviews, but when we first entered our apartment everybody went 'WOW' and immediately went exploring. From teenagers point of view, huge tv's with lots of channels is an immediate plus. From parents point of view, fabulous kitchen with everything you need and more, plenty of storage, separate laundry room and huge bathroom and luxurious bedroom. We had a 2 bed/2 bath executive apartment and was only a minute from the pool and clubhouse. Didn't really use the clubhouse, but the pool was lovely and warm and was always quiet (busiest time seemed to be about 8.00 in the evening when the max seemed to be about 15 people). This is open until 10 pm and hot tub is open until midnight. The hot-tub is a fabulous facility to use after a long day at the parks. Rejuvenates your back and feet a treat ready for the next onslaught. Definately need a car at the Vista Cay. Publix supermarket nearby but, dependant on position on resort, would be a hard slog with a good sized shop. Walgreens (more of a chemist - but can get milk and snacks) very close to the Clubhouse area. Position on Universal Blvd is fabulous for both SeaWorld and Universal parks (within 10 mins to either) and very easy to navigate too. Only a few minutes to International Drive, but would be quite a way to walk. To round-up my review on the Vista Cay, I would have no hesitation in recommending this complex to anybody visiting Orlando. The apartment and building and public areas were all spotlessly clean and I felt that the security was good, and always felt safe on resort as well as on Universal Boulevard. It's a very quiet area. On my next visit to Florida, I want to do the Disney Parks and will be looking at Windsor Hills which is nearer to the Kissimmee area which I hear was built or is being run by the same company.

Returned form a 3 week holiday staying at Vista Cay Orlando. Trying to find the Millenium Office proved slightly tricky on checking in, but it is located near the Publix Supermarket. The apartment was fabulous, upgraded from a 2 bedroomed to a 3 bedroomed. Huge apartment, extremely large bedrooms, two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen with a fridge / freezer great for freezing your water bottles to take into the park, and a wonderful dining and sitting area. Balcony looked nice but far to hot outside to use. Apartment immaculate and clean. Towels provided and spare bed linen. Washing machine and dryer extremely useful, so had to barely bring any dirty clothes back. Took own detergent as recommended on another review. Also took own coffee as the supermarkets is extremely bitter. Swimming pool looked lovely but didn't use it at all as spent all our time out at the parks until very late. You definately need a car, but it is only 15 minutes drive to Universal and about 25 minutes to Disney. The longest drive was to Busch Gardens and Space Kennedy which was over an hour but the roads are a pleasure to drive on. Asda Walmart is not far away and cheaper than the two closer supermarkets that are within walking distance. The two closer supermarkets are ideal for your first provisions on arrriving. International Drive only a 10 minute drive and a fabulous place for eating out, The Boston Lobster Pot and Fish Bones Restaurant were fabulous and a great experience if you love fish and to see how many lobster you can eat. Our 11 year old managed 5 lobsters one evening Would definatley recommend these apartments to anyone, great location, friendly staff, all added to a wonderful holiday.

We recently returned from a 2 week trip to Orlando Florida with our 2 grown up daughters and their partners, we have travelled to Florida almost every year since 1990 so we know our way around. My wife had been researching online for accommodation when she found the Vista Cay complex, it looked superb but when we priced it up through the web site it was way over our budget so she looked through other sites and found websites which were agents representing owners on the same complex and the price was almost 50% lower. Let me start by saying you do need a car as the complex is over 1 mile from the North end of International Drive. The 3 bedroom apartment was massive with 1 King Size bedroom with a television en-suite bathroom comprising spa bath and separate walk-in shower , there are 2 other bedrooms with double beds and televisions and 1 bathroom with bath and over-bath shower, the living/dining area is huge with a 50" cable television (so all premier league games were available) with a DVD and games console, outside is a lovely corner balcony, there is a study with a convertible sofa and Hi-Fi and a laundry with a washer and tumble dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped including cooker, microwave, giant fridge/freezer, coffee maker and toaster,it also has stools around the breakfast bar for convenience. There was a large pool area about 100yards from our apartment and free Internet cafe inside the clubhouse. All in all everything you need for brilliant holiday.

Hi Stayed in August as a family of 4 with two teenagers. Arrived at 20:30 and easily found the reception located next to the Publix Supermarket. Check-in was quick and efficient. Was given upgrade from Executive three bed condo to Executive Premium three bed condo. Drove through electric coded gates and easily found the accommodation. Was in block 4840. Impressive entrance hall leading to lifts. Found room operated by electronic door code and entered. Wow, was my wife's reaction, "it's huge", "how did we get a place like this?" said my son. The condo was very large with luxurious well equipped kitchen area, granite worktops, large fridge with ice-maker, big cooker, built in microwave etc. The bedrooms did not disappoint. They were also large, with queen and king and the master had a massive bed, all covered with high quality linen and masses of scatter cushions. We had a view overlooking the lake and pool area. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms spotlessly clean. As well as the lounge area with TV and seating for 6, there was an area with a sofa to relax away from the TV. Everything worked, no need to contact management at all whilst there. If I had to be picky I would say that the location is not ideal if you are not driving and the balcony ( sorry forgot to mention that) only had two chairs, not great for the four of us. Fantastic place, would stay there again without hesitation and would recommend to anyone. Stayed in hotels before in Orlando but nothing has come close to this for value and comfort.

We got to Vista Cay after a twelve hour flight which included a three hour delay, feeling rather tired and irritable! However we found the Vista Cay by Millenium check in reception centre very easily and the actual check in was very straighforward and fast. The staff were exceptionally helpful, especially Adnan, who went out of his way to ensure our holiday was to our expectations. We had a three bedroomed apartment which was fantastic! The apartment was fully furnished making it a home from home, and all appliances were very modern and up to date. The apartment was extremely clean and spacious and we had no problems with ants, noise or anything else mentioned in other reviews. The pool was wonderful. It was very clean and never too crowded. We didn't really use the clubhouse so can't comment on this. Security was very good. This was one issue that worried us after reading other reviews but it proved to be no problem. All rooms are coded and secure and the county sherrif was seen driving around the complex on more than one occasion. The complex itself is ideally situated, only five minutes drive from international drive and Universal Studios and Sea World and with excellent access to the main roads to Disney and other areas. There is also a supermarket close by for all our needs. Thank you Vista Cay, our holiday was all we could have dreamed of!

I must say I am an advocate for reading TripAdvisor's reviews. All of the reviews for Vista Cay were great except 1 and the 1 review made me a little leary but I am proud to say that we didn't experience anything of the sort in any of the 3 bedrooms. ( I was checking every night ) I decided to go ahead and make the reservation anyways, knowing what I had read. To my hesitation, the condo was EXCELLENT!!! There were only a couple of small things that we weren't to excited about, but it didn't spoil our stay there. 1 - the pillows were very, very soft & no elevation for your head & 2 - the 2nd bedroom bed was a little lumpy, other than that, we had a GREAT stay @ Vista Cay. We rented the condo from Steve & Denise and when I called to let them know that there was a dining room chair loose & the face to the washing machine was off, Steve came right over & fixed both request immediately. We traveled w/ young kids & teenagers, so it is hard to please both age groups, but they enjoyed the Amenities Center and had enough room to play their Wii !!! All of the rooms were nicely sized and there was a TV in each room & accommodated up to 10, but we only had 6. My mother & I was able to cook in the kitchen together w/ out bumping each, the washer & dryer worked wonderfully. Without a doubt and 2nd thought we would stay @ Vista Cay again & are already planning for next year.

When we opened the door and looked around our mouths feel open. The place was huge. The grandkids ran into every room and shouted "look at this!" When we opened the door to our bedroom and bathroom I could not believe how big it was. From the balcony you could see the lake and we spent every night sitting out there talking and relaxing. The beds were a little hard. Also they did not have many skillets to cook on and only one spatchula to cook with. The pool was great and if you go into the club house they have a machine you can rent movies out of. We drove to Coco beach one day and spent the day swimming in the ocean. It is about an hours drive from the condo and well worth the trip. Just pack a picnic basket to eat when there. Park by the pier because they have bathrooms you can use and outdoor showers and if you do not pack a basket they also have a eating place.

We were upgraded from a 2 bed room deluxe to a three bedroom deluxe, If you want space, Luxury and peaceful surroundings then Vista Cay is a safe bet. 2 Bathrooms, hugh living spaces and Luxury Finishings with all the mod cons including Balcony for that cold lager on a hot night. Its located on universal boulevard which is a 5 minute drive from International Drive.I would say you need a car though there is a small shop on site and a publix supermarket, pizza place and chinese takeaway about a 2 minute drive away. I have to say after a long tiring day at the many theme parks this place was home from home my family really made it theres and theres no fighting over the TV either as there is one in each bedroom plus a Hugh Flat screen in the living area. If you wish to self cater then there is every mod con you need. Even a separate room with a washing machine and dryer for those who run out of clothes. Theres a clubhouse on site with a outside swimming pool which goes up to 5ft, baby pool and a Jacuzzi. Inside computers with internet access, pool tables, some arcade machines and a small gym and a mini cinema if you wish to use it. Forget to mention there is internet access in the condo. Overall I had a very enjoyable stay and would use Vista cay in the future. One thing that you must remember when you first arrive go past vista cay until you reach the Publix supermarket you cant miss it its about 20 seconds past it and next door is where the vista cay reception is where you must book in .REMEMBER THIS!!!! I hope this Helps enjoy your holiday, Forget to mention the lake next to the pool sorry.

we've just returned and far better than expectations. upgraded from 2bed exec to 3 bed exec apartment and it was fabulous. everything was so clean and felt really new. i normally don't walk around barefooted on the carpets and hate lounging on some of the settee's but no issue here. also had been concerned about location but we found it great. parks were all only 10mins away and you avoided international drive to get to them which was a bonus. also a large publix and a NYPD pizza restaurant and takeaway (very good) and a chinese takeaway only a couple of mins walk. it would be difficult without a car though. only irritation was we kept getting phone calls for someone else but as we didn't complain about it it couldn't have been that bad. i've only given a 3 for service because basically other than pool we didn't use anything else and it could do with a bar at the pool. we can't wait to return and wished we lived there.

Have stayed here twice. The first time booked a 2 bed apartment and were upgraded to the 3 bed townhouse. Ver comfortable like a home away from home. In 2007 we found it to be a bit far out, there were no stores or restaurants close enough to walk to and this was an issue if you wanted a drink with dinner, I guess as with most places in Florida, you really need to have a car. When we returned in 2008, there had been further development and there is now a publix supermarket right newt door and I think plans for a drugstore.
The real magic of this place is the space and comfort to feel like you are in your own home, without having to go right out into the suburbs for a villa

This was our 10th trip in 8 years to Orlando. We’ve stayed in exec villas, average villas, condos and Hotels and this was by far the best place. Location is superb....the only place that is more than 5 mins away is Disney and even then it's 10-15 just the same as being in a "Disney villa" our villa was booked privately through a lady who owns 3. Villa was executive standard, had marble worktops 3 bedrooms 4 double beds and 2 baths. We will be booking with her again.
Best for us, having a 3 and 5 year old was the kiddy pool. After those long days in the Parks and not really wanting a swim we could just take the kids down and let them have a splash. They are not swimmers yet, so it also meant they could buy a big blow up Shamu and there was no panick every time they fell off.
A shop and possibly a bar or refreshment service near the pool would make it 5 stars. there is a wallgreens within a 2 min walk though.
A slight downside was the internet access. we needed to check on the volcanic ash situation quite often, but 90% of the time it was occupied by people just sitting there staring at facebook. I use facebook...but not when on my hols??? anyhow it would have just been easier if people had a time limit of say 30 mins or even an hour, one gent was there at 7pm and still sitting there gone 10pm!!! That was all I could find wrong with the place though. LOved it and will be returning soon!!!

I stayed here in late April/early May for a conference that was across the road at another hotel as a much better cost alternative. The condo was fabulous. Clean, spacious, many amenities and close to lots of Orlando destinations. The whole complex was clean and well maintained including the club house, pools and sports courts. Staff were very helpful and perfectly situated with Publix grocery store, Walgreens and strip mall locations within a minute's walk. Would stay here again for business or leisure.

We arrived in Orlando for the sixth time looking forward to what is our ultimate holiday destination as a family. Having stayed in hotels and villas previously we decided to try Vista Cay after reading positive reviews. We were not disappointed! Just 15 mins from the airport, on a wide and quiet Universal Boulevard is Vista Cay. A gorgeous resort with pools, games room, internet access etc and accomodation second to none. We had a 3 bed 5 star apartment in a block next to the club house-very convenient, booked through Golden Florida. They were great to deal with, as we were given our apartment details and access codes prior to departure and didn't need to check on arrival. Apartment was delightful- 42 inch tv, flat screen tv's and i pod docking stations in all bedrooms and computer and wireless internet access- a must for most teenagers! As we stayed over the Easter period, the pool did become quite busy for a couple of days as you would expect. The large lake out front is great for an afternoon stroll where you may get lucky and see a gator basking. Just 5 mins up Universal Boulevard are the Universal parks. A car is a must as it is close to but not on the busy bustling road that is International Drive. For the days when you are theme parked out, try a 40 min drive to Winter Park for a boat tour around the lake to see beautiful properties ranging from 1-15 million dollars. Or try a trip to Wikeva State park for a swim in a natural spring and hire a canoe to search for gators and snakes.

Due to have stayed 3 weeks, extended 9 days due to volcanic ash. First time to US so do not have a comparator. However, loved the location - note car is a must - 15 mins from airport, WDW, less to SeaWorld. Publix around corner and local convenience store on site.
Units are large (we were in 4802) and were upgraded to a 3 bedroom condo. Lounge, dining and kitchen area spacious and clean. Limited cooking utensils but perfectly adequate. Master bedroom had ensuite which had a spacious shower, other bedrooms shared a 2nd bathroom (bath with shower over). Unit 4-5 years old and very clean and presentable (only possible wish list would be to upgrade shower in master ensuite - slightly tired). Per other posts, yes there are some ants (we regularly saw 4-5 in the ensuite, not many elsewhere) so keep food leftovers tied up. Empty bins (outside flat) 6 days a week so no excuse!
Pool areas well presented, very busy during the Easter week when US children are on their break but if you arrive early (before 9.30am) or late (after 3.30pm) sunbeds are easy to find. Outside of Easter week availability virtually any time of the day. Would have been nice to have a bar/restaurant around the pool (2 drinks machines and sweet/candy machine) but room closeby so saved me some money!
4 computers which you can use (max of 30 mins/over 16s at busy times), basketball court ($5 deposit for ball), 2 pool tables (extra), 1 table football (free), arcade games. Also a plush cinema room available (free, DVD's available to hire).
Mix of US visitors/owners, UK visitors/owners and convention centre/business visitors.
Millenium very helpful in supporting us through our extended vacation and jiggling other guests around so we could stay in the same room.
Loved Orlando, people very friendly, parks great and close. Really relaxed. Can't wait to go back. If we do go back we'll definitely try to get in at Vista Cay.

Fantastic property - very clean. No problems with security issues.
There is everything in the apartment from Hairdryers (we had x2), iron and ironing board, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, blender, hoover the list goes on.
You can park anywhere but we managed to park outside our condo with no problem.
Nice pool and jacuzzi - again very clean and no problem getting a bed. There is a drinks machine at the poolside but no bar - this wasn't a problem as we used to take our own drinks.
Our condo was non-smoking which was great as we are non-smokers - I think you can smoke on the balconies though?

The location was near to the parks as stated, the units were sizeable, we had a 3bd 3.5bath townhome and this was great as it allowed us all privacy. We had some maintenance issues and when I called they were attended to in less than 15 minutes which was great. Also the gated community made us feel safe as when we were in we knew that unless a person had the gate code there were no worries for our safety.

We have just returned from our second holiday at the Vista Cay, and after comparing other accommodations, we knew that this was the perfect place for us to stay. It is ideally located for all the Universal Parks including Wet n Wild, Sea World and Aquatica. Even the Disney resorts are only a 20 minute drive away.
The rooms still have the 'wow factor' when you arrive, so much space and so clean and comfortable. The staff at the Millennium Office were great, and were more than helpful when we asked if we could change the location of the apartment we were given (only because we wanted to be near to where we stayed last time).
We had a wonderful time at the Vista Cay and would recommend this to anyone who likes a touch of luxury to relax in after a hot, tiring day around the parks.
