Halloween is here! Here is where to go with the little one.

Halloween is upon us! The spookiest time of the year can sometimes be a little too much for the young ones. That’s why we created a list of 5 local, little-one-friendly events that will put your whole family in the Halloween spirit. So, put on your favorite superhero costume, grab a Trick or Treat basket, and get ready for a spooky time!

Zoo BooBash

 
The Central Florida Zoo and Orlando Health present: Zoo Boo Bash - a perfect Halloween event for the animal lovers! 

The Zoo will display many not-so-scary decorations and activities, including trick-or-treat stations full of delicious candy! Come in costume and enjoy all of the activities included with zoo admission.

Presenting over 350 animals and representing over 100 species, the Central Florida Zoo aims to educate the local community while rehabilitating many native species. Experience lemurs, leopards, Bald Eagles, Tortoises and much more! 

Dates: October 22-23, 29-30

Event time: 9:00 am to 3:00 p.m.
 


Trick or Treat Safe Zone | Orange County Library System

Need a safe space to bring the kiddos on a trick or treat adventure? Look no further! The Orange County History Center and the Orlando Public Library present: The Trick or Treat Safe Zone. 

Attendees will enjoy making creepy crafts, eating candy and exploring on an adventurous scavenger hunt.

Children must be accompanied at this free, safe event. The event is from 1:00 p.m to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 29th.

Gators Ghosts and Goblins

Welcoming gators, goblins and ghouls, Gatorland presents one of the most unique events in Orlando. Known as the “Alligator Capital of the World”, Gatorland aims to educate and “wow” audiences with these amazing native creatures.

This Halloween, enjoy Frank & Steins famous Ooky Kooky Oktoberfest, Monster Museum, Bubba Snatchers Haunt Zone, Childrens Halloween costume parade, and much more on top of everything granted with park admission. 

Children and adults are encouraged to wear family-friendly costumes to this event.

Screamin’ Green Hauntoween at The Crayola Experience

Experience Screamin’ Green Hauntoween at The Crayola Experience this Halloween! Join the crayon crew on their quest to discover rare, Halloween colors. Chalk-full of events, Screamin’ Green Hauntoween presents a themed scavenger hunt, spooky crafts, character pop ups and over 20+ more creative attractions to peruse.

Costumes are encouraged although costume masks are prohibited. The event runs through Halloween from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Winter Garden Halloween Experience

Hang out with the locals this Halloween and enjoy the Winter Garden Halloween Experience! Explore light shows, scary movie screenings, a Halloween-themed farmers market, harvest sidewalk strolls and much more.
