Disney, Universal and SeaWorld are ready to welcome you with their most amazing attractions ever—and Vista Cay Resort by Millenium is the place to stay during your next vacation

Month after month, we share with you the countless and exciting reasons why Central Florida is the perfect place for the perfect vacation. But 2020 is promising to be the best year ever for Orlando-area theme parks since the start of a new decade is a major milestone for a city that started as an orange grove town and has now become the theme park capital of the world. The iconic nature of the year 2020 is worthy of celebration all year-round and our resort property wants to remind you about all the opportunities we have to create a memorable vacation.

Here’s a 2020 update for each of the theme parks in Orlando and their attractions:

Disney – With four theme parks and an amazing shopping and dining park known as Disney Springs, Orlando should be at the top of your family vacation destination list. Since its grand opening last year, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge has been attracting people of all ages into an immersive experience based on the epic Star Wars universe. But Marvel fans also have something to look forward to as Disney is getting ready to build the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind rollercoaster experience—although you’ll probably have to wait until late 2020 or early 2021 for its grand opening.

Universal Studios – Last year we saw the grand opening of Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure™, continuing to add to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. For 2020 there are rumors that a new animatronic-based attraction called The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash will be opening in 2020. Also, the Bourne Stuntacular is expected to open in the Spring as a new live-action show at Universal Studios Florida—based on the character of Jason Bourne and the movie series depicting the action-packed life of this special operative’s adventures around the world.

SeaWorld Orlando – The adventure park is getting ready to unveil its new (and first) launched roller coaster—Ice Breaker. This new attraction is expected to raise the stakes for theme park roller coasters, offering an intense and exhilarating experience unlike any of its current roller coasters. In addition, new experiences are constantly being introduced for guests’ enjoyment, depending on the season. Also, know that SeaWorld Orlando is literally a stone’s throw from Vista Cay Resort by Millenium—making it a perfect local attraction to visit in our local vicinity.
