Sweet Strawberry Festivities In Central Florida
If you are planning to visit Vista Cay within the next month, you are in for a treat! The Florida Strawberry Festival is back in 2024 for you to enjoy all of its happenings! Find live music from local and nationally known artists, carnival rides, fair foods, local vendors, and of course, strawberries! The festival started back in 1930 and has become a beloved tradition in Plant City that residents all over the state travel for each year. The festival will be held from February 28th to March 10th, and discounted tickets are limited but available now!

If you love live musical performances, you must check out the festival’s lineup this year. Some performances are included with your ticket, including artists such as high school orchestras and local performers. The Strawberry Festival has a top-notch set of headliners this year across all genres!

Livestock Presentations

The main attraction for locals for the Strawberry Festival is the livestock show that takes place every year. The festival partners with local middle and high schools' FFA clubs to present cows, goats, and other livestock that they raise and then present in this competition. As an attendee, you have the opportunity to attend the shows, and if that isn’t your thing, you can simply take a walk around the pasture and visit the different animals participating!
And Of Course, Strawberries!
Plant City is known for its strawberries, so who better to represent this festival than them? Enjoy different strawberry treats, including ice cream, smoothies, and candies. The most beloved part of this festival is the strawberry shortcake. Due to popularity, the line gets long so prepare to wait, but there’s a reason for it!
