Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party | August 11th - November 1st

 

Get in the spooky season spirit early with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. This celebration is being held after park hours on select nights from August 11th - November 1st. During this frightfully fun adventure, dress up as your favorite Disney character and enjoy trick-or-treating, meeting characters in Halloween costumes, and catch some thrills on the rides!

Free Family Fun Day | August 13th

 

Join the Mennello Museum of American Art every second Sunday of the month for Free Family Fun Day. You and your family will start your adventure with free admission to the museum and a guided tour of the galleries. Then participate in a free take-home craft that was inspired by the current exhibit anytime from 12pm - 2:30pm.

License To Drive Track Laps At Daytona | August 15th

 

NASCAR fans rev your engines and drive your family over to the Daytona International Speedway because this is an opportunity you won’t want to miss! For just $50 per vehicle, you will get to experience the racetrack up close and drive your car through 2 laps. Proceeds from this event will benefit children in The NASCAR Foundation.

Fly With An Astronaut | August 18th - 20th

 

If you’ve ever dreamed of being an astronaut, this is the opportunity of a lifetime. The Kennedy Space Center is offering exclusive tours behind the gates led by a veteran NASA astronaut. After your tour, listen to personal accounts of what it takes to become an astronaut with a question and answer session over a catered lunch. Then go on to explore the Space Shuttle Atlantis and experience what taking off into space at 17,500 mph feels like on the Shuttle Launch Experience!

Note, this experience is not suited for smaller children due to the length of the tour.

The Carnival Presented By Creative City Project | August 25th - August 27th

 

Creative City Project and the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra have teamed together to present a carnival like never before! This thrilling night out will feature actors, circus performers, dancers, puppetry, and live music based on Camille Saint-Saëns’s “Le Carnaval des Animaux.” The story will explore self-discovery and life’s complexities behind the meaning of being alive. Come out and enjoy this unique experience for a night to remember!
