Disney’s Magic Kingdom is gearing up for Halloween Season with their annual kid-friendly event, featuring Mickey Mouse and the rest of the Disney character gang
While other theme parks build up the Halloween excitement around gore and horror, Disney takes a lighter and less-scary approach to enjoy the season. The annual Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is set to begin on select evenings, starting at the end of August and continuing on through early November 2019. Traditionally, the event begins at 7:00 pm during event nights and ends at Midnight—all while avoiding scare tactics in its entertainment style, which often concerns parents who want to enjoy the fun without their children being frightened.
Pricing for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party range from $79 to $135 for adults and from $74 to $130 for children under the age of 10. The price is dependent on the day of the event, with the higher pricing reserved for weekend event dates and on October 31st, Halloween Day. Another unique feature of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is that children are allowed to dress up in costumes, which is typically not allowed in other theme parks. After all, Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party starts after the Magic Kingdom shuts down for daytime guests, reopening an hour later to allow the wave of guests for the Halloween-themed event.
